Someone Like You

As always I do my daily lurk on Lookbook.nu whether its to see what new looks have been posted or to find some new blogs thats are somewhat intriguing. Now every so often you come across that certain person that you feel just puked inspiration on you, today Lina Tesch did just that. Her look seemed somewhat cool but it was when I went to her blog that her photography definitely got my attention, well at least enough for me to share how freakin awesome she is. Now due to my husband being a photographer I have become somewhat critical when looking at other photographers I no longer just see a cool image I see the lighting, the crush, all that bloody annoying photographer talk I have to listen too. Anyways this girl seems to have it all.. the few photos I have posted here are just some of the favorites. Heres her website and blog to check out yourself. Later lesbos. xx

I Wish My Ass Looked Like This

PINCH!!**

P.S I WANT THOSE KNITTED KNICKERS

As clouds pass by

Just a peek at what I wore to work today. I kind of threw on whatever this morning just because I knew I'd be shooting for West all day and would be changing in an out of clothes. By the end of the day I ended up really liking what I was wearing. The shorts are wee bit big on me but I was able to pull them off by wearing a longer shirt. The one ring with the turquoise is one of my Israel purchases, I'll try and snap a few photos of everything I bought in Israel, I scored some pretty sweet antique jewelry and a handmade bedouin bag. Mmm... Arizona

Hanging out on the rooftop drinking my Arizona. Remember when Arizona didn't exist in Canada only in the states, now you go to the convenience store and conveniently they have every bloody flavor of that stuff. I remember having my first Arizona in Hawaii, I thought I struck gold when I came across it. Everywhere I went from there on out I carried this large oddly shaped plastic arizona bottle (they didnt have the 99 cent cans) I think I even brought an empty bottle home with me just so I could reminisce about laying on the beach guzzling bottle after bottle of it. Hilarious. The things I obsess over. Well at least you know how much I enjoyed my Arizona on the rooftop...

Almost Famous

I have yet to be disappointed by the great minds of Kimberly and Emily from Wildfox Couture. They by far have some of my favorite lookbooks no matter what season it is. They know how to hit that nostalgic hot spot. Here they are once again with their most recent. Love it all as always. xx Thanks WF!

Work Wear

Here is what I wore yesterday to work. I was able to pick up a few things from Billabong this crop tank being one of them. The shorts are from H&M and of course I'm wearing chucks. Us girls at West all stocked up with Billa last week and I ended up scoring a couple extra pieces thanks to one of the girls not wanting a couple of the things she chose. You will most def be seeing a pretty rad white dress in a future post. (That is once I get it altered) You wont be disappointed. Alright kids I need some sleep. Gnite. xx

African Queens

I picked up the May issue of British Vogue a while back and was mesmerized by this spread featuring Agyness Deyn. I honestly love everything about it from the neutral color palette to Agyness' blonde locks to how fragile she looks next to the leopards, its simply stunning. Tim Walker was able to capture my attention so strongly in these photographs. I feel the only other time I may have been struck the same way by a spread was in American Vogue in June 2007 where Keira Knightley was photographed with a baby elephant in Africa. (shown below) Both spreads give such inspiration and really share the incredible connection between fashion and photography.

My Darlings

I've been home now from Israel just a couple days and have spent most of that time sleeping. The Jet lag barely bothered me when we flew there but coming home was another story. Anyways I'll share photos and stories soon enough but as for now here are my two darlings cuddling during these lazy afternoons.

Vincent packed my suitcase

Here is a little look into what I will be bringing to Israel. The weather forecast is pretty much showing all sunshine all day everyday so I'm pretty stoked on that! It's hard to think 10 days in advance but I managed to do so without over packing to much... I think. Anyways this should give you a good idea as to what you'll see me wearing in most of the photos I post. Well I guess I should go to bed now see as its passed midnight and I have to be up bright and early to catch me flight. Tootles lovelies. xx

Astronaut and Docs

This is what I wore the other day to work. We finally had the sun come out for a week straight but once again thunderstorms hit today. I'm wearing a Roxy dress that is probably one of my favorites in my closet. It's so unbelievably comfortable!! I'm also wearing the floral docs that I was dying for in the winter that I finally got just before spring. I have held off wearing them due to this insane amount of rain. Anyways I'm hoping to post more looks soon. I leave for Israel tomorrow so I'm pretty stoked about that ... I just have yet to pack ...whoops. Happy Saturday. xx
